Celebrate our soft OPENING with us and our first official Paint and Sip event! New Year, New You? CUBE it! Cubism is a style of art made famous by Pablo Picasso and in this workshop, we will guide you on how to create your self-portrait in the style of Cubism! Beginner-friendly and a great way to start your new year :) Doors open at 5 pm for everyone to check out the new studio space, enjoy one another company, and even see some cool demos! ;) The event starts about 6 pm and doors close by 8 pm for clean up. We will have snacks and drinks but should you want to sip-SIP, BYOB is welcome!

Air-Dry Clay Workshop

General Info.
Unwind and have fun making a mess with good company. In this air-dry clay workshop, you’ll learn how to make catch-all’s in the shape of your favorite winter themes utilizing the traditional Slab hand-building technique (snow-folk, snowflakes, evergreen trees, etc.) Drinks and snacks are provided though BYOB is welcome as well. We will be using AIR-DRY clay for this workshop which means you can not use these items to eat or drink out of. These items are great for keys, candles, loose change, scrunchies, jewelry, decoration, wall hangings, etc. You will learn some fundamentals and - BONUS - can take your piece home the same day! Air-dry clay takes 48-72 hours to dry before paint and/or varnish can be applied so participants can take home all materials needed to paint and seal the pieces at home.
Included: 5-6lbs of air-dry clay per person, paint samples, paint brush, and varnish.

Ooh baby it’s cold outside! In this air-dry clay workshop, you’ll learn how to make a miniature fireplace for small-medium sized tealight candles utilizing the traditional Slab hand-building technique! Drinks and snacks are provided though BYOB is welcome as well. Considering the prompt we doubt there is a likelihood of this mix up but to be safe we should point out we will be using AIR-DRY clay for this workshop which means you can not use these items to eat or drink out of.
