Beginners Guide to Ceramics Zine Vol 1.

Beginners Guide to Ceramics Zine Vol 1.
The Beginners Guide to Ceramics is the first educational Zine we’ve launched! The intent is to have a quick and simple but simultaneous informative reference guide whilst in the studio creating (Spark Notes for potters if you will.) As an instructor myself I brought my knowledge of the classroom and the most repeated questions to paper. This is ideal for people who want a supplementary guide in classes or for those who need refreshers. Below is a breakdown of what type of information you can find in Vol. 1!
In this first 7 page rendition we have 5 pages of content; 1) Cover, 2) Tools & Terms, 3) Wheel Throwing: Posture, breakdown of each hand used while centering up & down, 4) Wheel Throwing: breakdown of each hand opening, compressing, pulling walls, and tips, 5) Slab Building: steps on rolling out a slab, 6) Coil Building: steps and tips on coil building, 7) Contact Page.
*NOTE: From the perspective of right handed persons. If you are left handed the instructions are the same please just flip the instructions per hand and have your wheel turning clockwise.
